Email Privacy
Your email address will only be used for communication purposes. The VMPC does not sell or rent email addresses to anyone outside the organization. If you do not wish to receive email correspondence, please email your request to info@vetsmpc.org or call the VMPC at 877.791.8603 or 954.791.8603.

Use of IP addresses and Browser Cookies
A unique number called an IP address identifies every computer on the Internet. When you connect to the Internet an IP address is assigned to your machine. An IP address is a number that identifies each sender or receiver of information that is sent in packets across the Internet. The VMPC does not track your IP address.

“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block them in the future. Since users are not required to login, the VMPC does not use cookies to maintain user session identity or store information such as usernames and passwords locally.

www.vetsmpc.org offers email subscription services. When you register your email address for VMPC subscriptions services, your email address will not be shared with anyone outside of the VMPC.

www.vetsmpc.org may employ online surveys that ask respondents for contact information (such as email address) and demographic information (such as zip code and age). The VMPC also may use contact data from its surveys to send information about the VMPC business to you.

Public Forums
www.vetsmpc.org may make forums and message boards available to its users. Although the VMPC tries to protect your personal information when you are using these public forums, the VMPC cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit in the course of using any one or more of these areas, and you do so at your own risk.

Information collected from you is not stored by VMPC online. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under the VMPC’s control. All information involving a donation is processed by PayPal and not VMPC.

We disclaim, without limitation, all liability for any loss or damage of any kind, including any direct, indirect or consequential damages, which might be incurred through the use of or access to our website, or any links to third-party websites.

Furthermore, we disclaim all liability for any tampering with the Internet user’s computer system by unauthorized parties. In this regard, we expressly remind of the risk of viruses, and the possibility of targeted attacks by hackers. In order to combat viruses, it is recommended that the most recent browser versions be used, and that anti-virus software be installed and continually updated. As a rule, the opening of any email from an unknown source as well as any unexpected attachment to an email message should be avoided.
